Privacy
We collect as little data as we can. You can read every page without an account, and we don't sell personal data. This page explains what we do collect and why.
When you read a page
Our site runs behind Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect the site. We don't use advertising trackers. If you agree, we also use Google Analytics 4, run by Google, to count visits and see which pages are useful.
When you click an offer
When you click an affiliate button, we record the click so we can count visits to each casino: the time, the page you clicked on, the casino, the market of the page, your country as reported by Cloudflare, the type of device, the referring page and your browser's user agent. We don't store your IP address with the click. A random click ID is passed to the casino so it can tell us later whether a sign-up came from spinchecks.
Cookies, Google Analytics and local storage
Google Analytics loads only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. Until then nothing is sent to Google and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with _ga so it can tell visits apart. Google may process this data outside the EU. We keep analytics data for 14 months.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you decline, we remove the _ga cookies from your browser and Google Analytics stops loading.
Your browser also keeps your cookie choice in local storage, and a small setting in session storage when you close the offer bar at the bottom of the screen, so it stays closed while you browse.
Contact and requests
You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing editor@spinchecks.com. Click records are kept for as long as we need them to reconcile commissions with casinos.
