How we research

Every number on spinchecks has a public source and a date. If a source doesn't answer, we don't publish the number. This page explains where our data comes from and the checks every page passes before it goes live.

01 · Sources

Where our data comes from

Streamer numbers come from the platforms themselves (Kick and Twitch public data) and from StreamerStats, which records Kick streams. Casino information comes from each casino's own website, terms and public game lobby, read from a European address because many casinos block other regions. Slot figures come from the game provider's own page.

For every fact we record four things: the fact, its source (a web address, or for our partners' offers the deal terms in our casino database), the date, and the check it passed. Streamer statistics are refreshed weekly; casino and slot facts before every update of the page.

02 · Rules

What we never do

We never estimate a missing number. If a casino shows its bonus terms only to registered players, the page says so instead of guessing. We never name the casino a streamer plays at without a dated stream link from the last 60 days. We never use a streamer photo from anywhere other than their own public Kick or Twitch profile, and we remove it on request.

We don't publish claims we can't check, such as payout speeds, unless the casino itself states them, and then we write that the casino states them.

03 · Checks

How a page is checked

Each page goes through a fixed sequence: a keyword and search check, research with dated sources, writing in the page's own language, a uniqueness check against every other page, a check of every claim and of our gambling-content rules, an on-page and structured-data check, a technical check on phone and desktop, and a check against Google's published guidelines. A single failed rule sends the page back. The final step is a human approval.

Some of these steps are done by software and AI tools under these rules. AI never publishes anything by itself.

04 · Corrections

When we get something wrong

If you spot a mistake, email editor@spinchecks.com with the page and the correct information. We check it against the source, fix the page and change its updated date. The updated date on a page only changes when something on it really changed.
